Pumpkin Carving 2012

Owen just couldn't wait to decorate a pumpkin so he got to color on a mini pumpkin! You can clearly see how much he enjoyed this! He was super focused :)

A couple nights later we carved the real pumpkins together. Sydney was armed with a knife, I with a drill & Owen with markers, as Tim supervised!

The final products!

Pumpkin Patch 2012

We continued our annual tradition of going to the pumpkin patch at Liepold Farm with the Downing's. This year Baby Sarah got to join us!

Sydney said her favorite parts were the candy apples & running into Miss Maddy.

Owen's favorite part was stomping in mud puddles with his boots & wandering all around the patch looking at the animals.

After touring the farm we picked out our perfect pumpkins :)

Happy Pumpkin Patching 2012!

2012 Jog-a-Thon!

Every fall, no matter what elementary school you're at, it is Jog-a-Thon season! Sydney still looks forward to this each year and I'm hoping she keeps up the spirit through 5th grade.

This year she beat her goal by 2 laps. Way to go Sydney!! 12 laps equals close to 2.5 miles, all in 25 minutes!

Cafe Au Play Morning

One of the many blessings of being a stay at home mama is the opportunity to have morning play dates! Instead of having to wait until the weekend when every child friendly location is overcrowded, we can actually enjoy ourselves and socialize while the little ones play!

This morning we hung out at Cafe Au Play with Nichole (& baby Hudson in her belly!) and Blake. Fun Times!

Blake & Owen "raced" their bikes!

Take a little break from the sandbox and have a snack, boys!

Owen was SO dirty when we left that I changed his diaper and tossed him in the seat with no clothes on. Clearly he was comfortable because he fell asleep in 5 minutes! Check out those skinned up knees - He's ALL boy!

...and then we got home and I hoped he would continue his nap. Owen says, "Haha Sucker! I'm not napping today!"

We've been Booed!

Each year since we moved to our neighborhood we've been BOOED! I just think it's the cutest Halloween tradition ever! Sydney came home from the neighbor's house this evening and found this treat on our porch!

Now it's our turn to Boo a neighbor!
