Saturday Adventures

We started out the day with Max's 6th Birthday Party at the Sellwood Pool!

After nap time, it was off to Papa & Sue's for their Open House Retirement Party. I somehow only managed to get pictures of our little family and no one else. Ha!

Papa put together this awesome Treasure Hunt for the party! The kids & adults had so much fun touring the new house this way. Though I do notice that whomever filled this one out got a few incorrect :)

The Flying Orb made it's appearance at the end of the night.
After struggling, they finally got it to fly!
Owen had some awesome poses on the ottoman while watching the flying orb. Too Cute!

Family Adventure

Tim has taken the guns up to the hills a few times, but we've never had the chance to join him. So we made it happen! We found a day for Papa to hang out with Owen, and we went out on a family adventure.

Sydney was really excited to shoot the 22 (the only one we let her shoot.) Even with her excitement, she understood exactly how important it is to follow all the safety rules. After her first couple rounds she was in heaven and kept wanting her clip filled with more rounds, over and over! Our 3 hours went by way too fast and we're all ready to head out again!

Syd's keeping an eye on me to make sure this really IS going to be fun!

She's on it!
You can see the target up high in the center of the photo.
Tossing more clay pigeons
She couldn't get enough, even in the heat!
A little friendly target competition (and after this shot, Tim realized I had his ear protection. Oops!)
Ear protection on and ready to attack clay pigeons
I was pretty happy that I got a chance to shoot all 3. Though I must say, this was my favorite!

Beach Day

What started out as a day trip to Seaside (road construction road closure,) led us to Tillamook and Rockaway Beach. This is where I spent so much time while growing up so it was fun to take the kids there. I must say I was pretty blessed as a kid having grandparents in Rockaway & Neskowin/Lincoln City. We spent weekend after weekend & a lot of holidays at the beach.

(These photos all posted backward and I'm not about to delete & upload them...)

A Snuggly Non-Napping Baby Boy!

After our walk through Flamingo Jim's & the candy shop,
we found this new little pirate ship play structure right above the beach!

Grandma & Grandpa's beach house. Pretty sad to see the state of it now. The property looks nothing like it used to.
It used to be so bright & full of flowers.

Who says a dairy free kid can't find anything at the Cheese Factory? Lemon Sorbet!

Watching the factory package my favorite cheese, Tillamook Colby Jack!
