You've started to drink a little diluted apple juice from a sippy cup. You don't seem to mind it, but you definitely don't love it yet.
Only July 25th we found the little nub of your 1st tooth coming through. Within 2 weeks the tooth right next to it was also errupting! Amazingly so, you haven't been too fussy at all! I think it's because of the amber teething necklace and the Camilia teething liquid we give you. I'm all for the hippie treatment if it works!
You are starting to try to communicate with us, You give the "gimme, gimme" hands, or as daddy calls them, Jazz Hands, when you want something. You'll say dadadada when daddy comes in sometimes, but it's not consistent enough to really know if you have any idea what you're saying. You give the best wide mouth slobbery kisses when we ask for one, or even if we don't ask! When we say "up!" you lift your arms.
Sleeping is going well. You're down at 6:30-7:30pm, waking maybe once during the middle of the night to take your binky, and going right back to sleep until 6am! We even get lucky some nights and you sleep all the way through! You nap twice a day for about an hour and a half each time.
You're sitting well and reaching for items. We try to get you in the crawling position, but you have zero interest. You'll stand against the couch/chairs for a short while, but quickly tip over. I really can't complain that you're not mobile yet. I enjoy being able to sit you in one place and come back to find you still there. You're starting to log roll a bit when you're laying in bed with us, so I'm sure that you'll figure it out on the floor soon enough and we'll have to do some major babyproofing!
Sissy is still your major source of entertainment. You just LOVE her to pieces and it's so fun to see! She thinks you're so much fun and loves to hold you every chance she gets!
