Potty Time!

Owen is now 27 months and is working hard to potty train! For the past two weeks we've been slowly transitioning him to using the potty during the day. Over the past 5 days he has been running around the house without a diaper on using his froggy potty chair every.single.time he needed to go! He's even pooping in the potty! I'm so proud of the little guy!

We need to work on his communication in regards to needing to go potty though, because at this point he does it on his own without telling anyone, then comes running to find his chocolate chip treat. This is fantastic, except for when we try to put him in big boy undies or training pants. Instead of telling us he has to go, he just pees in them like a diaper. Hmmm, we'll have to work on that.

Though yesterday we made it to Story Time at the library where he stayed dry the whole time. He peed before and after in his potty! He even took a nap and stayed dry during that, too, going potty before & after! We're making progress!
