Owen - 4 Months Old Update

Oh giggly boy. You are such a sweet, sweet baby! You just adore your mommy, daddy & sister, but not too many others. At your 4 month check up, which was about 2 weeks late, Dr. Campbell commented on how you're a socially mature little boy who is hitting 6 month milestones at 4 months old, such as stranger anxiety. As sad as it is for others, I don't mind that you want us all the time. I know it's just a matter of time before you'll want nothing to do with us! You are currently 16lbs. 13.5oz. (75% percentile), 27.5in. (98% percentile) & you still have your little peanut head, which is in the 45% percentile.

Over this last month you've really started to become more indepedent. You will swing, lay on your playmat, or bounce in the Jumperoo for about 15 minutes without needing anyone right next to you. You're learning to entertain yourself and it's really nice! You're doing a lot better at tummy time and will look around for a few minutes and roll from one side to the other, but not completely over. We even tried out your highchair during dinner time so you could join the family at the dinning room table. Sleeping at night is getting a bit easier. You fall asleep around 6:30/7pm, sleep until 11pm when you wake up to eat again, then wake between 1:30/2am where you've just been taking a binky and going back to sleep until you wake up at 5:30am!

Not loving the highchair!
Jumparoo!
